1955 Ford F 100 Stock #119 Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas
For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this wonderfully restored 1955 Ford F-100. This truck underwent a frame off restoration in 2008, and has only had 800 miles put on it since. The original 239 CID Y Block V8 was kept and rebuilt, along with the 3 speed manual transmission with the 3 on the tree column shifter. The drivetrain was kept all original including the rear axle. No stone was left unturned in this restoration, as everything was either replaced or rebuilt. The body was soda blasted before having this gorgeous sky blue paint applied, and the body is laser straight. In the bed, you will find some wonderful looking wood paneling with stainless rails. The electrical system was converted to a 12v system, allowing for better charging and ease of maintenance. For the classic hot rod truck look, the front has been dropped 3 giving it a great muscle stance. Pop open the door, and pay special attention to the fact that the door locks do not have any overspray, a clear indication of a properly done paint job. The subtle grey vinyl interior looks fantastic, and is set off nicely by the dash and doors painted to match the exterior of the truck. The attractive Autometer gauges have a timeless look that perfectly compliment the rest of the build. The list of parts replaced has been meticulously kept, including the vender it was purchased from and the part number, and is available upon request. This thoroughly crafted truck is ready to knock peoples socks off at any show or just enjoy on a nice day.
