Jay Leno’s Garage: A Look At Peter Mullin & the 1938 Hispano-Suiza Dubonnet Xenia

the 1938 Hispano-Suiza Dubonnet Xenia; Collector Cars

Today, Jay Leno is at the Mullin Museum that is dedicated to the preservation of French cars of the 1930s, This is going to knock your socks off! Specifically, Jay is going to personally have a tour in the only 1938 Hispano-Suiza Dubonnet Xenia ever made. What an outstanding car! The front part of the windscreen, with its semi-circular frame, looks like the front cockpit glass of a Spitfire, or a Dewoitine D520. Thanks for posting this review. And Jay… NO, the Mullin museum is NOT the largest automobile museum in the world. The title goes to the “Cité de l’Automobile” in Mulhouse, France. Somehow, the car looks so good on the road from the front, but the back sides with the wheel cover take something away from the front lines and almost make it look like a single wheeler in the back.  Also, the passengers look like they are sitting in pod and actually kind of funny.  Still, a beautiful car, with some interesting forward-looking design features
