Inside Mecum Collector Car Auction – Kissimmee 2015
It’s the largest auto auction in the nation, with nearly 3,000 vehicles up for bids, including muscle cars, classics, hot rods, and restored, but modernized rides called Resto mods. Aside from the four-wheeled vehicles, one of the big attractions this year is the auctioning-off of a 1959 Harley Davidson once owned by rock ‘n roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis. “Once again, the Mecum Kissimmee Auction has received some of the most noted consignments,” said Dana Mecum. “We invite our current customers and new bidders to sunny Florida to help us eclipse the world record for collector car auctions set at Kissimmee in 2013,” said Mecum. Admission is $20 per person per day. Children 12 and under are free. Gates open at 8 AM. Daily vehicle auctions begin at 10 AM.
